Initially, we'll have a conversation with you over the phone to gather some basic information. We will arrange a meeting with you and your family to learn more about your loved one and their past. This discussion will help us formulate a meaningful Memorial Service.
During our meeting, we’ll talk about the order of the service, the music you'd like, the readings, poetry, and any prayers or moments of reflection you feel would be appropriate. We'll also discuss the dress code, whether you prefer it to be formal or informal. Additionally, we can write and deliver the eulogy or provide guidance if you choose someone close to your loved one to take on that role.
We can advise on suitable venues for your Celebration of Life services— remember, with permission, you can hold your service anywhere that feels right for you. We can connect you with printers for Order of Service booklets, caterers, flower providers, and PA systems to ensure everything is just as you envision.
Taking all your information into account, we will craft the service for you and present a draft for your review. You will have the opportunity to approve or suggest changes as we refine it together. We understand that changes can happen, which is why we are flexible in our approach to funeral service writing, including options for pre-paid cremations if that suits your needs.
What happens on the day?

We will usually arrive early in case of any last-minute adjustments or requirements for the Celebration of Life services.

We will conduct the service as planned, introducing the speakers, music, readings, etc., and we will be there to support and guide the speakers if needed, just like dedicated funeral celebrants do during such events.
