Initial Contact for Pre-Planned Funerals
Following your initial contact, we will arrange to meet with you and your family. During this meeting, we will ask questions about your life and take notes to help us create a meaningful celebration of life. This will allow us to craft a personalised funeral service that honours your wishes.
After preparing the written funeral ceremony, we will return it to you for review. If any changes are needed, we will make the necessary adjustments and send the revised written funeral ceremony back to you for approval. This process continues until we reach a final approved version that you are happy with.
Once you have approved the Written Funeral Celebration Service
Once approved, the Written Funeral Ceremony is then handed over to you as a final document, either by email in PDF format or by post or in person as a printed document. When you receive this document, you should file it with your other end-of-life documents, such as your will and insurance papers, and inform a loved one or your named executor about where these important documents are stored. We will also retain a copy of the original on file in case yours is lost. Now that the Written Funeral Ceremony is yours, we understand that over time, your wishes may change, so we recommend updating it accordingly as part of your celebration of life planning.
When the time comes
We hope that the Written Funeral Ceremony document is kept alongside your will and other end-of-life documents for many years to come. However, the day will inevitably come when you die, your family will need to make arrangements for your funeral service.
